About City

Singapore officially the Republic of Singapore, is a sovereign city-state and island country in Southeast Asia. It lies off the southern tip of the Malay Peninsula and is 137 kilometres (85 mi) north of the equator. Singapore is separated from Peninsular Malaysia by the Straits of Johor to the north and from Indonesia's Riau Islands by the Singapore Strait to the south. The country is highly urbanized, and little of the original vegetation remains. Singapore's progress over the past three decades has been remarkable, yet the island has not been overwhelmed by development. Visitors will discover a wealth of historical treasures from the past, in the beauty of older buildings, values and traditions that have survived in the face of profound social and geographical change.

Singapore is the most wired country in the region. It can be considered as a suitable medium for the relocation of valuable knowledge about research and novel advancements worldwide. The conferences taking part here would promote a variety of scientific ideas among contenders belonging to diverse areas of science and technology. Singapore has a tropical rainforest climate with no distinctive seasons, uniform temperature, pressure, high humidity and abundant rainfall. Sentosa Island, Singapore Flyer, Universal Studios, Night Safari Singapore, Singapore Botanic Gardens, Jurong Bird Park, Singapore Zoo, Sri Mariamman Temple, Pulau Hantu famous for its rich coral reefs and Peranakan Museum are some of the points of interest in Singapore. A splendid location, life expectancy, quality of life, personal safety and housing that is unsurpassed for its livability makes Singapore a city to visit and remember.

Singapore is a unique ethnic tapestry affords visitors a wide array of sightseeing and culinary opportunities from which to choose. A full calendar of traditional festivals and holidays celebrated throughout the year adds to its cultural appeal. In addition, Singapore offers luxury hotels, delectable cuisine and great shopping!
